Eric J. Almquist, CEO
Mr. Eric J. Almquist is the Chief Executive Officer of the Oroville Economic and Community Development Corporation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that owns the Cottage Guest Home. Mr. Almquist holds a Master's Degree in Economics and is a licensed real estate broker, general building contractor and residential care facility administrator.
Eloise Anderson, Administrator
In 1975, after moving from New Jersey, Mrs. Eloise Anderson established her community care business in Oroville, CA. She owned and operated the Anderson care home between 1975 and 1982. In 1980, she acquired the Cottage Guest Home that had been in her family since 1953 operated by her parents and she took over for them. She recognized the need for specialized care for the elderly. She sold the home in 2008, but has remained active in its operation using her many years of experience to provide personalized quality care in a loving, homelike environment.
Jean Ensele, Bookkeeping and Administration
Mrs. Jean Ensele handles the administrative affairs of the Cottage Guest Home. She is a graduate of Butte College and has been in the care facility business for many years. Her background includes the Oroville National Guard and St. Joseph's Church where she was in charge of property management. She has been with the Cottage Guest Home from 1985 to 1999 and now again helps run the facility.
Michael Anderson, General Manager for Care Facilities
Mr. Michael Anderson is in charge of all of the care facilities owned by the Oroville Economic and Community Development Corporation. There are a never ending variety of duties needed to ensure a successful program of care and Michael sees to all of it. Care issues, construction and everything else in between, all fall under his watchful eye. He is on top of operations 24/7.
Christine Moore, Volunteer Staff Supervisor
Ms. Christine Moore is invaluable to the smooth operation of the Cottage Guest Home. She takes care of the muriad of details that arise daily and sees to it that nothing is overlooked. When it comes to care for our family of clients, she always performs above and beyond the call of duty.
Ray Anderson, Construction and Maintenance
When things break, Mr. Ray Anderson is there to promptly correct the problem. We rely on Ray to see that the plant and equipment are always in a state of good repair. Whether it is changing a light bulb to remodeling a bathroom to room additions, Ray "gets it done".
